Really now. Is there not a single one of you do-gooders that can pose an actual threat against me? This is becoming something of a bore...

Why are you fighting the good? No one ever got anything done fighting good.

Because it's fun? And, well, I considered ending the world, but I'm actually rather enjoying it a little more this time around. So really, mostly I'm just in it for the fun.

Oh, and the screams of absolute terror. Can't forget about those.

It must be fun if you're complaining about it. The way I see it is you should be doing something about it, not standing around letting these kids hold you back. We both know you're so much better than that.

In my experience, they get a little stale.

Do something about it, hmm? I may do just that.

See, the pleas of mercy are what get old for me. You can only hear 'oh, please, no, don't' so many times before you want to rip out their tongue and feed it to them. Or maybe that's just me.

You're a drastic one, aren't you?

I prefer the phrase 'someone who gets the job done right the first time around', but I suppose drastic works too.

That just makes you good at your job. The way you go about it is what makes you drastic.

True. I suppose I just figure, if I'm going to do something, I might as well have fun with it. And after seeing all I have, and doing all I've done, drastic tends to be the only thing with any... oomph behind it, for me, anymore.

Besides, what's the point in having intelligence and cunning if you don't put it to good use?

Yes, we understand. You're so much better than the rest of us. Yawn.

No, not everyone. You? Yes. Definitely better than. But not everyone.

You can always tell the new villains by the massive amounts of ego they carry around with them.

Oh, I'm far from 'new'. I've just been waiting for the right time to emerge, is all. And I may have an ego but, I kinda should, all things considered.

That's like asking a nun to spread her legs. Won't happen.

Now, there might be a fool here and there, who might think they can pose a threat. However.. maybe all they're good for is screaming and dying.

[info]kindofgay

True. The only problem is, the screaming and dying only goes so far. Then there's kinda nothing left but the ending of the world. Which, again, can be fun, but not half as challenging as it seems.

I know what you mean, it does get boring. That's why I like to make the deaths interesting. They're usually different every time.

A boiler explosion, impaling flagpole, mirror decapitation, eye-eating ravens, car crash.. ohh! And one time, my nosy doctor, an elevator cable sliced his body in half.

Do-gooders are naturally boring. They prefer to stay inside when the blood rushes down the streets. They prefer to take a sip of wine instead of drinking down the whole bottle. They perish so easily, like baby deer in the winter time.

I never liked them. They were never lively enough for me. My followers, they were always interesting.

Unless, of course, it's their blood that's doing the rushing.

Followers, you say?

Yes, and then they're out on the street with the rest of us. I've forced them to join the festivities like that many times before. They never seem to appreciate it.

My Maenads. The Bacchantes. I don't have the Maenads anymore. They're dead.

Ah. Then you must be Dionysus. It's a pleasure to meet you. I've certainly read a lot about you, over the years.

I'd suggest Buffy, but I've already called dibs on her.

Oh, I wouldn't dream of taking down Buffy. That honor is reserved solely for you, as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, I pose plenty of threat. Just ask the people who knew me in Sunnydale.

You are called Willow, aren't you? Your true self, that is. I saw you, and I know you are in there, sister.

I would meet with you again.

I'm still called Willow now, too, you know. I'm just not the weak, pathetic version of myself that I once was. And that little rope of yours was nothing more than an illusion. That Willow is gone and is never coming back.

Name the time and place. I'll be there. Sister.

Lies are the illusion. The truth is not.

Justice cannot wait. I'll meet you now, if you are so willing. The far end of Griffith Park, behind the ampitheatre.

Justice cannot wait? Wow, do you have any other nifty little sayings besides just that one? How about something along the lines of 'Oh, please don't remove my spine, Willow'? I like that one a little better, I'm thinking.

Hey, it's your funeral. I'll be there.

Oh, aren't you just adorable, all full of hope and blind faith in someone else! It will almost be a pity to see your face when that hope is shattered into tiny little pieces. Almost.
