It's not my decision. My father shall be honoured as long as he should live and, obviously, to do anything by follow his instructions was a mistake that I will soon fix.

I gain nothing but a kingdom suitable for my father, the Detective, and my line. The world will be a better place during the short time we are here to see it, but our children will reap the benefits of our actions.
