Finnick listened to the explanation. He knew where North America was, but much of the rest was gibberish to him. But there was one part he understood. "So the point of the game is to bankrupt your friends?" He frowned, "No offense, but that sounds pretty terrible. I can imagine something like that being popular in the Capitol, but never in the Districts."
"You died?" She may have mentioned that on the network, but he'd forgotten.
He grinned at first when she started to talk about strip Monopoly, but then got more sober. It was a bit too close to his former reality: those that had money and power demanding sexual performance from those that didn't. "I don't know if that version's really any better."
