It was hot out, the sun was bright and beaming down carrying strong heat with it, soaking into the waters of the ocean and the sands and earth of the beach and island respectively. The trees provided great shade, but unfortunately Peter wasn't building his shelter under the trees, he needed space after all, and so he was out in the intense heat. Sure it wasn't as bad as New York could get at times, but it was still pretty hot and had forced Parker to go shirtless partway through the building of his shelter.
Currently he had one of the large beams in hand, held above his head while he looked at the walls currently being put up. His engineering degree was helping here, he'd built bridges and skyscrapers out of toothpicks in challenges in middle and elementary school, he understood all of it. It was just trying to work it out in his head, as he'd not bothered to create a blueprint and was going clearly just off what he knew.
A couple of walls were standing at this point, on either side and the back, and of course the floor was in place; now, he had to get the upper floor built, but was trying to decide if he wanted to break up rooms first before worrying about it, it wouldn't be too difficult he figured. It'd basically be one bedroom, a living area, and a makeshift 'kitchen'/dining area, and a loft up top.
Wiping a bit of sweat off his brow, he leaped up onto the ledge of the wall to get himself an aerial view. Dropping into the room below, he decided to go with the rooms being walled off first, so he didn't have to try to slip in beams underneath the ceiling, and began to place the beam in place, whipping the large, heavy beam around his head before setting it down across the floor, laying it flat and moved out of the house to begin grabbing the smaller beams that'd go in between. He loved building, this was like real life Minecraft.
