We haven't had a story telling bonfire in a while. So tonight's post will be 1000 points for a starter that tells a cultural story. This can be something personal or something general about your character's world.

Cisco looked down at her, wondering what it was that she wanted to talk to him about. "Wanna go for a walk?" he asked. "that way we can talk where there aren't so many people around."

Something told him that this was important and not something that she'd want to share with everyone so he gave her the option to get away for a bit.

That was a good idea. She stood, still holding his hand, and waited for him to get up, then headed off in the direction of the woods. She wouldn't go into the forest tonight, but she they could walk a bit around the perimeter.

Once they were outside of the hearing of most people at the bonfire, she stopped, and took his other hand.

"I was kind of wondering if you'd like to have a baby."

He took her hand and followed her, enjoying the warmth of her hand in his and just being with her. Cisco had never felt this way before, he still couldn't believe that Lustre wanted to be with him at all but he was glad she did. He liked their time together, she didn't expect him to be someone he wasn't and that meant a lot to him. Still though he was surprised when she asked the question.

"A baby? You and me? I mean yeah of course you meant you and me," he wasn't sure what to say but ass he looked at her, he realized that the answer was actually pretty simple. When Jemma had approached him about having a baby, she'd been focused on the scientific parts, it had been almost clinical, the way she'd asked him and that had bothered him a little bit. With Lustre, he knew that she was asking him because she really wanted him and he knew enough about her now that he could appreciate that it was also a matter of trust.

"Yes, I would like to have a baby with you," he said and kissed her. It was the easiest answer he'd ever had to give. When he broke the kiss, he touched her face and smiled. "so what do you want to do. Do you want to keep it or let Arva raise it? I'm not sure I'm ready to actually be a parent but if that's what you want, I'm willing to try. I mean it's new to everybody the first time, isn't it?"

"I don't know what I want," she replied, honestly. "I mean, part of me says that oh my god, we should give it to Arva as fast as we can so that I don't ruin it, you know?" She smiled a little, in self-deprecation. "But another part of me thinks like you said...it's new and scary to everyone the first time, and who knows if I'll really feel like I can let it go?"

She met his eyes.

"We have some time to decide that though, right? I mean, the first step is getting pregnant, and then we can decide the rest from there." She dropped his hand, pressing herself against him and putting her arms around his neck, her fingers playing with the soft hair at the base of his neck. "And getting pregnant will be fun."

"I'd be the one most likely to drop him on his head," he said with a laugh. "but yeah, you're right. We've got time to decide what to do. It's not like we have to know right away." He had meant it when he said he'd be fine with Lustre's decision. While the idea of being a father, a real father, was scary, there was also the fact that he would enjoy watching their child grow up.

His smiled widened when Lustre put her arms around him. "You're right. Getting pregnant will be fun. You know what they say, practice makes perfect."

"Then we should practice a lot," she said, teasingly. "We've got to make sure we get it right."

Of course, to get pregnant, all they had to do was have sex and want to get pregnant. But a few extra times wouldn't hurt at all.

"What do you say we go back to my shelter and work on that a little?"
