Sydney wasn't the kind of person who listened to gossip or let other people's impressions color her own. From her limited exposure to Scott, she found him to be kind and caring. Though the werewolf thing did give her a bit of a pause. Her only knowledge of them was from myths and legends and she assumed there was a lot about them that was inaccurate, just like it was for vampires.
"What exactly does an Alpha do?" she asked. "I'm not familiar with werewolves, other than through stories, and I'm guessing they aren't very accurate." Idly, she wondered if he knew anything about magic or could sense that she might have some within her. She still wasn't sure what to do with the knowledge that both Melissa and Bonnie could sense that potential, especially since she had no idea what differences might exist between their worlds and hers.
