Nick wasn't sure that he was actually all that excited for the bonfire this evening, but he was here. The werewolf had been putting in a lot of man hours on the medical facility, and he'd even made time for running....unfortunately, that meant that most other activities had slowed down for him.
Now, that wasn't exactly a bad thing. His social life was suffering, though. And that was one of the most important reasons that he needed to be at the bonfire this evening. Wolves were social creatures, and Nick was nothing if not a wolf, by birth and nature, really.
So, Nick sat near the actual fire, sprawled in the position that he found most comfortable: his legs stretched out and propped up against a rock with his ass in the sand. For now his eyes were moving around the different people here. It wasn't hard for him to hear damn near every conversation going on around him. Nicky was doing his best not to eavesdrop, though, as he worked on the pile of fruit that he'd snatched for himself. Currently, he was working on one of the four apples that he'd grabbed, and he still had a nice assorted pile next to him.
And, yes, he was planning on eating every single bite of all of it. Meat would have been preferable, but he could always take care of that craving later. Damn, he'd kill for some bacon. Tearing off a chunk of apple, as politely as he could, the werewolf scanned the area, a friendly smile on his face. Things really were coming along. Now, he just needed to draw someone in to talk to him and it'd be a good night. Well, a good night that he'd cap off later with hunting down something to eat.
For now, fruit and friendliness, hoping to lure someone in close to talk. It was only because he was so relaxed, and needed it, that Nick wasn't on the prowl. He deserved a bit of a rest, he figured.
