After a few circles, Ray pressed a button to shrink himself, just to make sure that the functionality was still there. Promising that he could do so if necessary in a medical emergency was hollow if the suit didn't do it. But, it did. Thankfully, it did. He hit another button to grow back to full size and then decided he didn't want to run the power too low just in case being able to recharge it was going to prove difficult here.
So, he swooped down toward the beach and landed again with a low whoop of exhilaration. It felt good to be back in the sky.
Belatedly, Ray noticed someone else on the beach and he lifted the face plate on the suit offering the other man a charming smile. "Oh, hello! I didn't realize anyone else was out here!" he chirped brightly, holding a hand out to the man. "Ray Palmer, nice to meet you. I've seen you on the network," he realized aloud as he got a better look at the man. "But I'm so sorry, there's a lot of new people all at once; I'm usually better at this, but I can't recall your name."
