Something was up with him and his friends, then. Considering there was always fighting, drama and rivalries springing up between her and her friends, she had to wonder if it was really bad, or if he and his friends just typically didn't get as dramatic as hers did. It was none of her business though, she wasn't going to ask. "Maybe you're just going through a rough patch, trying to adjust to a new setting. You've literally uprooted yourself into a brand new setting. Things haven't settled yet."
She wasn't sure she wanted to hunt. Melissa probably had to get over the alarm in taking down some woodland creature. If she could take down a supernatural monster trying to kill her friends, she should be able to hunt to survive, right? "Different how? I should probably learn to hunt, but I keep picturing adorable woodland creatures and automatically start to feel guilty. It's hypocritical, but it's easier to eat meat when it can't look at you."
