Is there anyone else here who doesn't eat meat? I'm just curious, I mean, I'm not going to judge you if you do or anything like that. I was kind of just wondering if anyone had any recipes...because it's hard to be a vegetarian in primitive-land.

Just sayin'.

I'm not personally a vegetarian, but I do enjoy dishes without meat. I think we should be able to adapt a couple of recipes to whatever's here on the island.

That would be great. I mean, the fresh vegetables are amazing.

This is much fresher than anything you'd get in the supermarket. One of the few reasons I've always enjoyed Hawaii was the pineapple. Freshest in the world, in my opinion. What've they got here?

Well, we have a garden with the normal stuff. You know, corn, tomatoes, green peppers, potatoes and stuff. And they've got all sorts of wild stuff out there. Probably pineapples? I haven't seen any, but they're probably there.

I'll have to go take a look and see if I can find any. In the meantime, there's plenty we can do with what's in the garden.

I just wish I knew someone who was like...a really good cook.

I know my way around the kitchen. I'd be happy to rustle something up for you.

Great, then. You can cook for us!

I do eat meat, but I am looking into collecting some of the kelp from the sea to make sure it's similar to the kind back home and that can be used to help the diversity of food options for you if you're interested.

I'd be glad to help. There's some great stuff we can make from that.

I'm used to food being cooked for me so I've got nothing.
