Suddenly, Jaina felt almost guilty. She hadn't meant for it to sound like that. Granted, he was known for what he'd done as Darth Vader - you couldn't hope to avoid repeated the past without first having an understanding of it, after all - but that wasn't how she knew him at all. Hell, her brother was named after him because of his ability to return to the light after so many years on the Dark Side.
Sighing softly, her guilt overriding any common sense that him not having a sudden interest in her might actually be a good thing, she spoke again, quietly. "No," she stated, "I don't think you do."
She wasn't sure how to add on to that without revealing who she was, then realized if she was going to see this through and make him understand that she didn't just know of the Vader side of him, she may not have much choice but to reveal her identity.
"Your son speaks quite highly of you, in fact." She hesitated for the briefest of second before adding, "And... so does your daughter."
Okay, not exactly one hundred percent true considering Leia's views on her father were a little... conflicted. But, again, Jaina knew her mother at least cared for the man that Vader had once been, as well as acknowledged that he had been more than just the Sith Lord she'd grown up despising. Plus the woman wasn't here to directly contradict her statement so, she ran with it.
