Bruce was going to be furious with him when he found Terry was gone. He was disobeying a direct order. He knew his place, right now he was stepping way out of line. Honestly Terry wasn't thinking straight, nor of lines. The only thing on his mind was Kal getting a fist full of Kryptonite. He was disgusting. Terry sort of wondered which reality he came from and how he was still alive the way he talked. Had to be the super powers. Most wouldn't want to go up against someone like Kal-El. Terry wanted nothing more. Fury blinding his better judgment he got into the safe where the Kryptonite was kept, broke the code and snatched a small stone. He wasn't stupid. Terry wasn't going to show up unprepared. Even a small rock could take him down right? In his palm was barely a shard of the stuff, he slipped it into a small steel container and slipped it into his glove.
He missed his suit about now. The utility belt was nice. Had a place for everything. This suit?..Dick Grayson must have been some kind of fighting god if he didn't need any tricks or gadgets. Not even a real place for a grappling hook. Inconvenient. But it was a suit, he'd take it over no suit at all. Or a Robin suit any day. He would never call himself Robin. Ever. Snatching a hook anyway and eying the Tumbler, Terry decided he was already in for it anyways. Might as well arrive in style. Even if it did get like a negative two on the stealth scale. He needed to show Kal up. This was one way to do it, he threw the car into drive and the engine roared. It took off from the cave in high gear and rolled to a stop on a dime at the address he told Kal. Only when he spotted the teen would he get out, so for now he waited.
