Senior Partners? Powers That Be? Vampyric Champion? Was there anything about this world that was familiar, Jaina found herself wondering. Not counting the Sith currently engaging her in conversation, of course. Or her ten-year-old uncle, either.
The comment about her lightsaber caused her to stiffen slightly, her own expression going from befuddled curiosity to wholly unreadable. Jaina had spent most of her life in the midst of battles and knew better than to truly let her guard down around anyone who posed a potential threat. She was finding their conversation intriguing and would hate for it to end, but she was in no way going to let him lure her into a false sense of security, either. He was still dangerous. Deadly. And now, apparently, thought she should play.
"I've done enough playing recently, thanks," Jaina replied evenly. "In fact, I was on my way away from all of the fun when I found myself here." She wasn't about to mention what that 'fun' had consisted of, though, because if she mentioned her twin and Vader found some enjoyment at what had become of Jacen, she was going to have to kill him where he stood. And while Jaina knew she could hold her own, she wasn't certain even she - while avenging the memory of the man her brother used to be - could actually take down Darth Vader without a whole lot of luck and a hell of a lot more training. So it was best she just didn't mention her Dark Side minded sibling at the moment, for all involved.
