Terry had been browsing through all of Bruce's cars in his over sized garage when he faintly heard the dinner call. He was a little anxious about it in reality, but it just wouldn't be like him to out wordly tell them why. So he kept quiet. Babs wanted this for her birthday he would do it, and he would even try to be pleasant. He needed to learn how to fly with that old school glider, and soon-because he more he looked at it the more he felt like he wasn't himself. What kind of batman didn't know how to fly?
Not only that, he wanted to take Babs out. Like she'd told him Dick used to do. Maybe not directly told him, but that's what he gathered. She obviously missed it when she told him too. So that would have to change. He wanted her to be happy. To have a good birthday. After everything she'd done for him since the joker attack she deserved that much and more.
She didn't have to take him in, but she had. She and Bruce both had. With little question. So he owed them at least that as he made his way back towards the kitchen and took a breath as he entered and grinned. "So which one of those fancy cars do I get to drive?" A smirk curved into his features.
