What: Time Lady Scientist & A Virus-infected Vampire
When: Evening
Where: Graveyard then Rani’s lab
Rating: High for violence, gory and language
Jared had gone out for yet another patrol in the city, his lean body wrapped in the raiment of a homeless man. He seemed so benign to the world but what was hidden was the power of an enraged mutated Hercules. Angry by current events and a hot desire for vampire blood on the brain as he set off to find the lucky prey. He knew one place that was surely housing vampires. That place was the cemetery. It wasn’t long before he found himself there among the gravestones and stone angels that were posed in mourning for the deceased and the houses of the dead with their doors locked shut. It wasn’t an inviting place by a long shot but the stillness of it eased some of his troubled mind. Gently and respectfully he settled on a raised platform that held one of those angelic statues, his gaze lifting up at it. Why did that give him the chills? He thought before brushing it aside, settling his attention on the quiet new grave marker.
He set in for the wait, nestling his hooded head against the angel’s legs waiting. Abruptly the earth begun to stir, brushed back as fingers broke the surface. It eased itself up and up until the vampire male was halfway out. Jared was quiet, allowing it to think it had a chance for survival. Jared could be so cruel sometimes. The vampire’s yellow eyes landed on Jared as soon as his feet were on the ground “How nice a free meal!” he said in dark humor. The infected vampire rose from where he was seated, fingers slowly lifting upwards to gather up his hood and dropped it back revealing his strange hairless face. The vampire seemed to dramatically lose his appetite, as Jared’s ‘game face’ appeared “What the hell?” Before he could say anything more he shot a punch to his face, sending him staggering backwards. It growled angrily at Jared and attacked, throwing itself forward so they both crashed to the ground below. Jared yelled punching the vampire hard then grabbed his skull slamming their heads together in a head butt. The vampire countered by forcing Jared’s head back into the earth hard and wrapped his fingers around his throat. The virus infected creature named Jared felt the air of his throat being shut off, trying to force unconsciousness on him but he wasn’t going down like that.
His pallid digits wrapped themselves around his wrist and twisted, an ominous pop echoed through the quiet night, as did the agonized scream that followed. Jared had broken his wrist. For his effort he was punched again. He merely chuckled kicking him off, rolling onto his stomach and to his feet flawlessly. Their bodies collided in their struggle once more like ancient wrestlers until Jared threw him down, snapping his other wrist leaving the vampire’s hands useless. A series of curses echoed from the newborn vampire even as Jared lifted him upwards. Frighteningly his jaw begin to pull apart much like a wicked Venus flytrap, attaching itself to the terrified vampire’s throat. Jared wrapped his arms around the body, holding it tightly as he drained the precious blood from the new vampire’s veins. Once he had drained every bit from it, he dropped the body on the ground crudely and with unchecked rage he forced his foot down onto its head. His foot when right through the face into the skull, a terrible sound of cracking bone and soft tissue making a sloshing noise before it vanished into dust.
