"You know, I'd like to see your reality. It's been so long since I didn't know the supernatural existed that I can't imagine what living in that kind of world is like," he mused quietly, staring at the coffee table in deep thought. Not that whatever powers that brought her here would ever think about sending him back with her but it was a better thought than the one about being left behind.
Hopefully it never came to that point. Until then, it wasn't even worth dwelling on.
"I do," he admitted. "It's more a theory but you might as well put blinking neon lights on it and put it out front. Right now there seems to be only one group angry enough at me to mentally screw with us." He wouldn't have put it past Lilah.
Frankly, he was kind of impressed. And kicking himself for giving up that job to her. Again.
