Cathy nodded slowly in silent agreement, still eying him fretfully. It was difficult enough at times as it was to read Lindsey, but she was getting at least somewhat better at knowing when something was wrong, or when there was something that he needed...even if she didn't know exactly what. "I don't think you need to worry about looking like a human being," she countered with a small laugh, tousling his hair affectionately. "Don't go changing too much. I won't recognize you, and then where will we be?"
His statement caught her off guard, and she looked back at him, questioning. "What makes you say that?" she asked gently, reaching out to rest her hand atop his. As he had thought, she was slowly beginning to put the pieces together...though, once more, she found herself resisting the notions that came to mind, hoping that the assumptions were false ones.
