WHO: Darth Caedus and Rogue
WHAT: Taking him up on an offer to show her the city.
WHEN: 10PM
WHERE: Streets of the city - near a nightclub to begin with
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress
Rogue knew that what she was doing was potentially dangerous. If this man, this 'Jason' was lying to her, he was quite likely crazy and had every intention of doing something to her she most likely wouldn't appreciate. Not that she couldn't take care of herself. She could. She just didn't like having to hurt someone. She preferred to avoid the conflict if it could be helped.
Still, if what he was saying was true, she needed to be prepared. She needed to know, so she could make sure she could protect herself against all of the things he'd mentioned. Vampires. Demons. Real, actual monsters. It was like some sort of nightmare come true.
She shook her head and scuffed her shoe against the ground. She was standing just a short distance away from the entrance to a local nightclub. Her gaze slid in that direction, the lights and music alluring. The bouncer nodded in her direction and she flashed him a smile, the white tresses that outlined her face shining in the lamplight overhead. She made no move to approach him, although she was willing to bet she could probably get inside. Maybe not for free, like she could were she in her leather X-Man suit, but the outfit was nice enough and she still looked presentable enough, that she could pull it off.
Granted, in another few days, she wouldn't look nearly as presentable. Her money supply would be gone and she'd either have to ask Logan if she could stay with him, or figure something else out before she became a real wreck. She'd managed well enough on her own before, though. She thought she might be able to manage again. She just really didn't want to.
Jason had offered her a place to stay, along with a tour of the dangerous side of Los Angeles. Rogue couldn't say she was comfortable agreeing to such a suggestion, but if nothing else if he turned out to be nice enough, she could consider it. For now, though, she just waited. Scanning the crowd gathered out front for the man who had replied to her message board post and hoping he didn't turn out to be one of the 'monsters' he'd been warning her about. She really didn't like hurting people.
