Lilith wasn’t in the best of the moods after she finished her shift and was able to leave to catch a meal. With luck, she had managed to find a job as a nurse in a clinic. Somebody with her experience as a medical head of a mission and commander in a war reduced to be a nurse. She didn’t mind the poor hours or the payment was the inability to help people as she had wanted to and was supposed to that bothered her.
What good can I do here? There wasn’t peace, only idleness that stunk around her. She worn more modest clothes, none of her complicated headpieces or elaborated saris. Here she wasn’t a symbol; she was a number and was at loss in her mission. Even Seth’s location slipped from her knowledge.
When she turned the corner, Lilith caught the smell of fried Chinese food and headed to the place. It was odd to taste flavors of Eastern Asia during the Dark Ages, she was able to indulge herself here and wouldn’t make this chance pass.
