The smile on his face disappeared, and it wasn't because of empathy. No, it was because he was quite angry at her, and felt that she had no business crying. She had a nice home, people who loved her, and here she was...crying, because she was having a bad dream. He wanted to rip her apart, but wouldn't do that. No, he would not kill anyone until the Holy Mother told him to.

Without saying a word he started to shoot at them from point blank range. In his state he hadn't noticed yet that the bullets weren't hitting.
