WHO: Faith Lehane and Deacon Frost
WHAT: How a Slayer deals with rage and grief.
WHEN: After the Cordelia rescue thread
WHERE: A club in Downtown LA
RATING: R- it's a not happy Slayer and an evil vampire.
STATUS: In Progress
After the fight Faith just felt nothing. There was nothing left for her, everything she'd done in the name of redemption had been for him. Angel had been the only one to believe in her when everyone else had written her off as beyond saving.
Feeling numb she just went to the loudest club she could find, the pounding music finally drowning out the taunting voices in her head. And she started dancing, just letting the beat dictate her movements.
She wasn't sure how much time had passed when some guy pushed past her making her stumble. Her head snapped up, dark eyes flashing angrily. With a snarl she pushed back, not holding back with any of her Slayer strength. He fell back, crashing into another group of dancers, all of whom looked around for someone to blame before angrily shoving the nearest person as fighting began to break out around the club.
Faith kept dancing, punching or kicking anyone who came near her. Her movements became faster and more erratic as her rage, guilt and grief began to take over and she took out all her anger on whoever dared come near her. And the chaos she'd instigated kept burning around her.
