She was certainly better than a goblin. There was something simple and calming about her, and that stood in a stark contrast to the constant senseless racket that his goblins made. That wasn't to say that Jareth didn't love his life as the goblin king--it left him feeling far superior to almost everyone--but he did tire of it occasionally, of them.
"I will show you." He said graciously. Though he did have minions for such things the thought of her company soothed him, especially because it would appear that he was helping her instead of the other way around. "I could help you travel from here to LA from time to time if you chose, and I see no reason why I could not figure out a way to make the message boards accessable to you here." Jareth would do a great many things to convince her that this was the place for her. She was not his Sarah, but she was a human, and if he could convince one human that this place was a safe haven, there was hope for Sarah after all.
