In fairness she didn't know if he was dead yet, sure he'd been dead in her time but that was 2008 and he'd certainly been alive when he'd been in L.A. She supposed that was part of the problem, why she couldn't move on because she had no idea what was happening, she coulnd't mourn for someone that might come back. She nodded at his answer, aware he was trying to let her down gently, but he was trying at least, which proved she wasn't making a massive mistake by being here.
As he spoke of his own loneliness she reached forward and gently touched his arm trying to offer him some kind of comfort or support. "I'm here," she told him, "I mean I know it's not the same at all but...well I hope I'm a bit better than a goblin."
At the change in him she stepped back, knowing it wasn't the kind of person that would want pity or concern from someone like her. "Will you show me around?" she asked, "or do you have minions for that kind of thing?" she laughed a little, though she supposed she probably wasn't that far off from the truth. "And...if I do stay here, will I still be able to use the boards? Not that I exactly have many friends back there but well there's Hunter, he might worry a bit." Really she couldn't see why she'd want to go back there, there was nothing for her in L.A, not really. "And...will you be here sometimes?"
