Angie didn't really know Warrington well off the pitch - or at all really. In fact, she didn't even know what his first name was. All she knew was what he'd looked like, and his presence on the pitch.
"I know you only played the one year, but you played a good enough game that I remember you just fine." His attention seemed a bit more focused on her now, and Angie wondered what she'd said to garner that deeper interest. She was pretty sure she'd caught him by surprise as much as he had her though. That was somewhat satisfying.
