Ernie and Hannah
Cucumber sandwiches weren't necessarily Hannah's favorite for the palate, they were more of a memory food. Her mother used to make them for every holiday with her father's side of the family. It was something simple that her Grandmother couldn't figure out how to criticize. So, as they walked past a waiter with a tray of them, she reached up and took one as Ernie led her toward the stocked table.
Hannah graciously took the plate Ernie offered. She watched as he grabbed a little bit of everything available. She followed suit and took a few items that looked tasty including one of the quiches that Ernie had pointed out to her. "The Ministry has really outdone themselves," she commented just before taking a bite from her plate. "Everything seems to be running very smoothly."
