Summary: Michael attempts talk to Siobhan about an escape plan but gets caught by Fenrir and things take a strange turn.

Michael was finally able to move enough that he was safe to transform and make an attempt at an escape now. However he had to get Siobhan out of that cave which was why he was still there because he could have run off by now otherwise. These werewolves still had no idea he was an animagus which was his biggest advantage, but he couldn't leave her alone with all of this; it just wasn't fair.

When the lot of the werewolves left to go hunting, Michael took his chance. He transformed into his wolf form when his guard dozed off and slipped into the wooded area nearby, trotting toward the cave in the underbrush. He probably needed to get into the cave as a wolf and transform once he was inside so that her guard wouldn't notice either - or maybe Michael's guard would notice he was missing and call for Siobhan's guard to help him look and they would have some time alone together to plot or even escape.

Michael inched toward the edge of the cave entrance, sniffing for the guard who seemed to be paying very little attention to what was going on behind him so he sidled past into the shadows of the cave toward the back where Siobhan was. He didn't want to startle her though, so he transformed as quickly as he could because he wasn't sure that she knew he was an animagus. "Hey, it's me," he whispered.

She shook her head at him when he started talking about taking her with him. She couldn't leave. She knew that now. She knew that she couldn't step too far out of line, or Fenrir would stop keeping the other packmates from her. She knew from the looks she got when they saw her that they would be doing something much more unsavory to her if they could get their hands on her.

"No. You need to go. I can't leave. I've heard what he's doing to Lavender. All he did was scratch her. What is he going to do to me if I get away from him now. He's told me that he's going to turn me." Tears appeared in her eyes at that, and she'd turned more toward Michael to tell him what she needed to, putting that purple bruise right in the path of that firelight. "You need to go before he gets back. Change, and just run."

Michael winced, not seeing her bruise, but hearing Lavender's name. He had not thought of her much, at least not the way she probably was now. Worried sick, feeling crazier than she already was and all because he was stupid enough to let himself get caught. He had to keep his mind off of her because it would only cloud his judgement. "If you get away from him now, you will be fine, Shiv. Lav was touched by him, that's why he's still after her - so he can finish what he started. If you get away now then you won't have any marks from him so he won't have any reason to come after you. If you stay he will turn you."

He touched her cheek where she had been hit and shook his head. "I'm not leaving you here with him. With them. There's no way."

Shiv winced when he touched her cheek and jerked away from him. It hurt even with that light touch. He had hit her really hard, but she still hadn't completely backed down. She'd told him right after that he needed to get used to the way she spoke. She had never really thought about what she said before.

"He hasn't scratched me, but he wants to turn me, so he's trying to keep me alive until the full moon." She said quietly. She couldn't see a good ending for her in this situation unless Fenrir was put back in Azkaban. "You need to leave. Get away and bring them back here to get him."

He frowned when she jerked away from him, wondering if Greyback hadn't already been working on her. Why was she so ready to stay put? They had an out right now, it was as easy as that. Sure, he couldn't move very well right now, but if they could get far enough away then it would be alright. With a head start that was really all that they needed. "Siobhan, stop this. We're both leaving and we can both get the aurors to come back here to get him. I'm not leaving you alone with them again."

Michael looked at the front of the cave again but didn't see any movement. "So get off your arse because we're leaving." He was done arguing stupidity with her. He wasn't going to do it anymore. He wasn't going to leave without her and that was that.

She saw the look in his eyes. He wasn't going to leave if she didn't. It was clear to her the moment he put his hand on her arm to start pulling her up. She stood up willingly. If that was the way to get him out, she'd have to go, but she also knew that the big bad wolf would come for her if she left and it wasn't going to be nice.

"Ok, then let's go." She was able to sneak around the shadows of the cave back toward the opening. There wasn't a whole lot of noise in the camp yet, so their chances were still good that they weren't back from the hunt yet.
