"I just thought I'd get some work done now, seeing that I hadn't finished anything in the past couple of days," he looked at the cup of tea so that he wouldn't need to try any harder to act normal. It didn't explain why seven in the morning when he was normally a night person nor did it explain the nervous appearance and behaviour.

"Why are you up so early?" He asked, trying to turn all focus back on her as he had no interest in admitting that he is still affected by the nightmares.
