"Sure we are, absolutely." Lee gave her a slow nod, but didn't look to be believing her. He'd been mates with George too long to fall for anyone's innocent looks just because they denied being guilty.
He didn't really pay too much attention to Agatha's initial reaction to how well - or not depending on which way you really wanted to look at it - his first toss had gone. Lee supposed his competitive streak didn't really go very deep. (Not if he was actually involved, at least. Cheering from the sidelines and badmouthing other teams was completely different.)
"I warrant tips, then?" He asked, not offended in the least. "Didn't think I was that bad. Or maybe," he gave her a brief look over his shoulder, "I am playing my own game and fooling you all... hustler-like. I'm a brilliant actor, you know."
Even still, he took her tips into account; he didn't want to lose too badly after all.
