What: Joining those seeking sanctuary at WWW
Where: WWW, Diagon Alley
When: November 12, 6PM
Rating: Not quite SFW

Ally had made a stop on her way to WWW, at her favourite Curry place in Aberystwyth to buy some for those sheltered in the shop with George, before finally taking the floo from her flat to the store. As she stepped out of the fireplace, she spotted a handful of people gathered together, chatting amiably

"Hey everyone! I've brought food for any who're interested!" she called out as she slung the overnight bag off her shoulder, opening it to take out the paper takeout bags.

Alicia spent a few moments petting Gidget - and keeping him away from the food - as she handed out the bags of takeout, saving one for herself and George. Finally, she stood up and slung the bag back over her shoulder.

"Because we all know how those skivving snackboxes are good for your health," she teased back. "No inferi or anything of the sort. And luckily, my bothersome clients shut right up the moment they're half naked on the table, so all is well."

Having no qualms about public displays of affection, she reached out to wrap her free hand around his neck, pulling him down for a kiss. Merlin, even better than I remembered. I could handle being watched over if it means kissing him like this more often.

"I hope you like curry," she said once the kiss ended.

He picked up Gidget and stuck him under his arm as the last of the hungry hoards walked away again. "They're not bad for you're health per se, they just give you the symptoms without any of the crappy stuff." He gave her his best salesman smile before he looked at what food she'd saved for them.

He wasn't going to make the move to kiss her in front of the group, not because he had any qualms with PDA, but because he didn't want to make assumptions about what she was comfortable with. But when she clearly was ok with it, he kissed her back with a bit of excitement. Maybe it hadn't been long since they'd last seen each other, but he'd actually missed her and wanted her to know that. Besides, he hadn't slept much the night before for worry of her and her nightmare. "I do like curry, nothing wrong with a little spice." he smiled as he looked into her eyes. "How are you doing today?" She seemed in good spirits, he hoped that meant the potion had worked last night.

She opened the bag on the nearest counter and took out boxes of curry and basmati rice. She'd chosen the mildest of the curries available, as there was no telling what people's tastes were. She pulled out two forks and handed one to George.

"Aside from hearing about all the excitement, I've been well. Better than expected, in fact." She grinned. "Actually had a decent night's sleep last night. It was strange, but... Michael's potion worked for the most part. And you? Did any of those whatevers try to get into the shop?"

He leaned on the counter and dug in, hungrier than he'd realized. He had been getting pretty close to running upstairs and raiding his pantry for things for people to eat, but she'd saved him from having to. "Yea, when everything first started, a few of them strayed in, but between the lot of us we got them out and charmed the place so as not to have to worry about them. Few people showed up, most of the people who were here went home once I got the floo fire place cleared out, had a display in front of it, not the smartest thing I guess. But I suppose being here was more fun than being at home for this lot, so they decided to stay, which I had no problem with."

He was glad to hear that the potion had worked. "So does the potion working mean no nightmare? I'll admit I had trouble sleeping because I was worried about you having trouble sleeping, even if Angie was there. You still could have taken Gidget for the night, I wouldn't have minded."

"I'm surprised Percy hasn't told you off for putting the display there. I bet there's some sort of Ministry regulations against that sort of thing," she added with a laugh. "But yes, this is definitely a more entertaining place to hide out."

She blushed as he admitted to being worried for her, but to hide it, she playfully poked him in the side with her elbow. "Well, I had the nightmare, but it no longer felt like it was happening to me, if that makes sense. Usually it feels as if it's me in the dream that everything is happening to, but this time, it was as if I was looking through someone else's eyes. I could see the same things, acknowledge that the same stuff was happening, but there was no pain, no panic... the emotions weren't there, and that made it livable."

She took a bite and looked over to Gidget, whose nose was high in the air at the scent of food. "I had Ang over. And if you were worried, you probably needed Gidget more than I did." This time, she poked her fork into George's food and took a bite, smirking at him as if challenging him to protest.

"Yea well I'm not sure Percy realized it was there, I had I pretty well hidden, I almost forgot it was there myself. But don't bring it up to him, or it will be my ass on the line, and I was under the impression that you kind of liked my ass," he smirked at her, seeing what she would say to that.

"Any improvement is good improvement, right? Still, I am glad that it worked. I guess that means you're going to keep using it yea? I'll be glad if you don't have to worry about the nightmares anymore, but we still need to find a way to get rid of it for good." That didn't include dying, he thought. But he decided not to say that part. "You could still stay at mine the next time you're supposed to have the dream, just in case. Then I won't have to loan you Gidget, he'll be here too. Everyone wins." He used his fork to counter her attempt to get at his food, and started a little sword fight with her before lettin her have some and getting some of hers in return.

"I will admit, I do have a vested interest in the ass in question," she teased with a wink. "Perhaps I can be persuaded to keep your secret."

She laughed as he 'fought' her attempts to steal his food and gladly played along. She grinned victoriously when he 'let' her have some of his food. "I plan on using it every night, in fact. I know there's been a pattern, but I figured it would be safer just in case the pattern changes, I don't want to be caught unawares." She looked back out at the others gathered in the room, but her words were still directed at George. "I brought it tonight. I figured I wouldn't be getting back to mine till morning... unless I'm being too presumptuous?"

"I thought so," he smiled back at her. "I could possibly think of ways to persuade you as well, if you needed more convincing," he said suggestively.

He was glad she didn't find his game childish and annoying, as some people had in the past. She just seemed to understand him better than anyone else he'd met, that was a big reason why he was so damn attracted to her. "Not a bad idea, better safe then sorry, right? Though it has been extremely regular so far, hasn't it? I only had that one night of it right at the start, but I can't imagine dealing with that on a regular basis. You're a stronger person than I am," he said, fully meaning it.

"Well why don't you just move right in without asking me, and eat my food, and kidnap my dog!" He teased her with a laugh. "Of course you can stay here, I'd be upset if you didn't. I might even cry, just a warning, I'm pretty addorable when I'm sad, it's hard to say no to me."

Her face went warm at his suggestive tone, but it wasn't a blush - it was from remembering their last night together, and just how... convincing he could be. "You can convince me later, when we're alone." And perhaps she'd take a peek at his adult line before heading up, just in case it inspired her.

"I'm not strong, I just have no choice but to deal with it." She shrugged self-consciously. "There are some nights I'm just about ready to give up, and others," she looked at his face, her eyes meeting his, make it bearable."

She smiled, secretly relieved that he didn't act weird. Some blokes were rather funny and leery of any sort of commitment, up to and including a girl presuming to stay the night and bringing an overnight bag. She'd hoped George would be better than that, and was pleased she'd been right. That didn't mean the fear hadn't been there, though. "I guess I'll just have to not say no to you, then."

She leaned over the very short distance it took to kiss his cheek. As she returned to her food, her shoulder stayed in contact with his, not wanting to part completely from him yet.

"Oh good, something to look forward to," he said lightly as if he was talking about a dinner date or something.

"I'm pretty sure everything you just said makes you strong, just so you know. So there's no real need to fight it." he smiled. He really did thinks she was brave, after everything that had happened in the last 5 years. "Well for the record I'm more than happy to give you some of those better nights to get you through the worse ones, you only have to ask. And if last time was any indication, a few good mornings as well!"

He laughed a little at that. "That's great, I hate it when people say no to me, and in return, I won't say no to you either, how about that." He smiled at the kiss on the cheek and leaned into her when she didn't break contact with him, very much liking the constant contact with her. Gidget wouldn't be ignored any longer though, and butted his head against George's leg before leaping up onto the counter, even though it should be too high for him to get to. He sat and stared at George, as if willing him to share his food. George gave him a look but didn't make a move to share.

"I can work with that," she replied to the 'not saying no' deal. "Means we'll have to be creative, though. Instead of no, we can say 'I don't think that's a good idea', or 'I would prefer this or that'. Or my personal favourite, 'Just bugger off already'."

She was in the midst of swallowing a bite of food when Gidget found his way to the counter. She pointed her fork at him. "Now I didn't get this for you. However, I did come prepared." She put down her fork to go into her bag and pulled out a cookie. It looked good enough for her to eat, but it was made specially for dogs. "Luckily, there's a pet store near the curry place. I didn't think you'd mind me distracting him from dinner."

She unwrapped the cookie and moved it close enough for Gidget to get a good whiff, then stepped away from the counter. "Here Gidget, on the floor to get your cookie!"

"Oh I'm officially only saying 'just bugger off already' from now on instead of no, that should be brilliant! Though with my mum, I think I'll use 'no', just to be safe, you know." he was far too amused by this conversation and was even further amused thinking of how that might get transferred into more intimate situations.

"I think Gidget has officially joined the Church of Spinnet and converted to Alicianity because of this," he watched as the dog eagerly jumped off the counter and then sat more perfectly than he ever had before. "Yea he definitely has adopted you as his new goddess, congratulations on that." George of course didn't mind at all, the nicer people were to his dog, the nicer he was usually to them.

"If you do tell your Mum to bugger off, do not claim it was my idea. I don't want to get on her bad side," she said with a laugh.

She rolled her eyes at George's dramatics, and cooed encouragingly as Gidget sat prettily. "Good boy." She patted the dog's head before giving him the cookie, then stood up to get back to her own food. However, before picking up her fork, she looked at George and decided she shouldn't let him feel let out.

"Good boy," she teased as she patted George's head.

"Are you kidding? You clearly haven't met my mother, because if she gets angry it's every man for himself, everyone gets thrown under the bus. But I'll blame Percy before you. Or maybe Ginny, she doesn't usually stay angry with Gin for long." He smiled. "Maybe you'll have to come to the next Sunday brunch with me, and then after we can keep up the tradition of you knocking me off my broom and risking giving me brain damage."

The pat to his head was unexpected but he laughed under his breath a little and gave her a look. "I'm not going to sit on the floor for a cookie, just so you know now. Especially not with this lot around, don't need them thinking I'm whipped or anything, especially since we only just started... Whatever this is!" he took a few more bites of his food and watched her. "Though I guess I'm the one who said something about dogs and their owners being very alike, maybe I brought this upon myself." he said the last part more to himself as an afterthought, but still in a totally joking way.

She smiled at the idea of Sunday Brunch at the Burrow, yet even though it brought a warm feeling to her chest, it also brought a flurry of nervousness to her stomach. Come on, girl. Don't overthink it. Just go with the flow. "Well, somebody needs to knock you off your broom, but I'll try not to damage your brain. I've a few uses for that too."

She giggled at his look, again feeling like a teenager again. It shouldn't have surprised her that she'd revert to some sort of childish behaviour around him, but this was different, and wonderful, and she was so glad to have it in her life when she needed it most. "Of course, can't have people thinking you're whipped. If I wanted that, I'd get out an actual whip." She tried to nonchalantly go back to her food, but couldn't help letting a giggle slip, completely ruining her image of cool and collected. "And yes, you brought it on yourself. Plus, I couldn't have you thinking I liked the dog more than you - even if it were true," she teased, sticking her tongue out at him.

He rather liked the idea of bringing her over on Sunday to see the family. His mother would be tickled pink by it, it would probably make her week. Plus he could show off to Percy that he had a girl, and get on him about doing the same. The bloke needed a girl to get his mind off of everything. "Hey if someone has to knock me off my broom, I rather it be someone cute like you so I can play injured and be taken care of." He smiled.

He liked the sound of her giggle. It made him smile, not a smile he could wipe off his face either. He just felt better with her around, and that was good enough for him, no point over thinking it beyond that. But at her next comment, his eye brows raised and he stood up a little and motioned towards the back of the store. "If it's that important, I think I've got a few whips in the adult section." He smiled before leaning agianst the counter again. "Hey, I thought we already had this conversation about how he isn't better than me, do you need a reminder?" He leaned forward and gave her another kiss as a reminder.

"Ah, so that's your dastardly plan. You just want to see me in that healer costume again, don't you," she teased with a wag of her finger.

She opened her mouth to make some sort of smart reply, but was quickly silenced with a kiss. She slid her hand up to grab ahold of his tie, pulling gently to encourage him to let the kiss last a little longer. They were interrupted, however, by the sound of a shrill whistle on the other side of the counter.

"Will you two get a room already?" shouted one of the patrons, attracting the attention of the rest in the room. Ally blushed and wished she had her mask on, feeling somewhat naked without it all of a sudden.

"Well I wouldn't say no to it at all, if that's what you're saying," he laughed at her.

He was happy to silence any witty remark with a kiss, and was perfectly glad to let it linger when she pulled on his tie to pull him in closer and keep him there. Of course the whistle was a pain in the arse. He sighed with a smile and flicked off the group, until the next thing was yelled, then he decided to show them the upper hand that he actually had.

"Alright we will, get your arses out of my shop then! Go on, go hang out with the living dead for a while, or take your lazy arses back to your places, I live here," he laughed at them as they all realized he had a point.

A few of the customers headed for the floo, while a handful of others remained, cheerfully eating their dinner and laughing at the entertainment. She looked at George slyly.

He waved a dismissive hand at them. "They all know it's coming to them whether they listen to me or not, so I guess they don't really care since there's no escaping their fate." He returned to his food as well. At least there was only a few of them left, but it was starting to get towards his normal closing time as it was. He'd let them stay until then before booting them out. After all, a whole day should be enough to make the streets relatively safe. It wasn't like they were in a hit-wizard and auror shortage.

She kept eating at his side, simply enjoying his presence as the curry slowly disappeared. Once she was done, she bumped his shoulder with hers.

"So, since I'm here, do I get a persolized tour? I would love to check out your products, Mister Weasley," she added, her voice taking on a playfully seductive tone.

By the time they finished, it was just about his closing time, so he shooed the rest of the group out, who all made playful jokes about not making too much noise for the neighbors and remembering protection. One of them, a close friend of his, got a smack to the back of the head for his comment, but he was pretty sure Ally hadn't heard it. Still, everyone left in good spirits, and soon enough they were on their own, thankfully.

He smiled at her. "Of course, though I have a feeling you're familiar enough with this part of the shop. I'm guessing your more interested in my more adult line?" He made a playful bow to her as he motioned the direction she should head in.

Alicia had, in fact, heard most of the comments with great amusement, and had waited patiently as the group was herded out of the shop. When George returned, she smiled back. She'd have been quite happily with a regular tour, just to see the pride on George's face at all that he and Fred had accomplished, but she was quite happy to skip ahead to the adult line, which had intrigued her ever since she had first heard of it.

"I do admit to some curiosity," she replied, tilting her head at his bow. She started walking toward the curtain at the back that he had described to her before, reaching out to draw it open. "This the right one?"

"Yup," he said coming up behind her and pulling it out of the way for her. Inside the room, a few lights came to life as they entered, casting just enough light over the displays. Everything was set up nicely, though there was an air of sex in the place to say the least. He had all kinds of things back there too, but he figured he'd let her explore for herself and find the things she was interested in.

"Like I said, you see anything you like, it's yours. Bonus if you want to use it in an act and can get some of the other girls over here for the same reason." He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall as she wandered through the room.

Her eyes opened in wonder at the array of items in the room. She laughed at the packaging for an inflatable woman, and next to it a male version. Along one shelf were assorted dongs and phallic vibrators. She picked one up, feeling along the shaft and the end for whatever turned it on. Suddenly, it came to life. Looking back at George, she slid the vibrating phallus along her neck and cleavage before finally turning it off.

"Very nice," she said, turning her attention further down the line.

Her eyes lit up at a particular item. She picked up the purple riding crop, took an experimental swing, then looked excitedly over at George. "Does this do anything special? Other than the expected, of course."
