George was actually nervous as he was getting ready for the date. He'd skipped out during his lunch break to make reservations at the nicest restaurant on Diagon Alley, which had been a little complicated, because really they prefered you made appointments a few weeks out, but George had it on good authority that if you greased the correct palms, you could get in. Which, thankfully, had worked, because otherwise he'd need a plan B. So now he was getting dressed and preparing to apparate to Alicia's flat to get her. He really wanted everything to go perfectly, he didn't want to blow his chance with her.

Once he was ready, he left his flat, locked up the shop, and stopped at a flower shop close by to grab a bouquet before apparating and appearing at her front door. He took one deep breath before knocking confidently on the door and waiting for her to respond.

He was pretty sure he'd found Ally sleeping in more than a few strange places during their school years. "Yea, I remember, that must be a blessing," he smiled. He wasn't as lucky. He needed at least a pillow to fall asleep, though he'd managed to sleep through a few classes in his day, something about the drawling voice of a few of his professors was better than a pillow for putting him out.

It was true, he had a few food related things he sold, and he was quite proud of the fact that they were tasty, even if they made you ill later, it was your choice after all to eat it. Of course he had other sweets and things that didn't make you ill, and those got good reviews also. "Oh you weren't that bad at school, you were better than me in some classes, I'm sure!" He always thought of Ally as being very smart. Brains and beauty.

Her comment about breakfast caught him a little off guard, but he was quick to come up with an answer. "Well, maybe you'll just have to find out for yourself," he said with a mischevious smile. "Although I will say fruit in a cup is cheating. You have to at least put whipped cream on it or something before it counts."

"Most of the time - except when you happen to have Angelina Johnson snoring next to you, then sleep is impossible even for me. And that is the only reason I scored higher than she did in History of Magic." This last was spoken while pointing her fork in emphasis.

She chuckled. "Considering both our marks in those classes, that's not saying much - especially since you never took NEWTS." She shook her head. "I sometimes think I should have gotten on my broom and flown away before taking them too." Not that the circumstances would have been the same or what not, but it had been temptimg at the time.

She had been eating some of her spaghetti when he replied about breakfast, and she flirtatiously ran the tip of her fork along her lower lip. "Oh, definitely whipped cream. And a cherry too?"
