George glanced at his own stomach at that comment. He'd never turned down a tummy rub, that was true. He supposed he couldn't argue that.

"Oh he's a hairy mutt, he's just hiding it behind a false mask of cute. You should see the trouble he gets into when I'm the only one around. No one will believe what a bad boy he is because he does this whenever there are witnesses! My particular favorite time was when he ate a whole Skiving Snack Box. That was a fun trip to the vet." He shook his head at Gidget who had the most innocent look possible on his face. "And no, before you ask, I didn't leave it out. I had it spell locked in a cabnet above the sink. To this day I've no idea how he got it." Gidget did have a good habit of getting out of or into anything George tried to keep him out of. It was uncanny.

He laughed at her comment and put his arm around her shoulders. "While that is not at all what I was suggesting, I'm glad all the same to know you're not interested in it. That would have made things very awkward indeed otherwise." The kiss to the cheek made him smile and he scratched the dog between the ears for a moment until Gidget closed his eyes in happiness. "Well since you're apparently much more in love with my dog, I guess you'll have to keep wondering, won't you?"
