George was relieved she was fond of the mutt immediately. Some of the past women he'd brought up here had not been so crazy about him, and George hated shutting Gidget up in the office on those occasions. But Ally's reaction was even better than he could have hoped, she was making strange noises at the dog sure, but she didn't seem to have a problem being slobbered on. But when she asked if she could hold him, George smiled broadly and held him out to her.
