George only didn't move because he was ever so slightly stunned that this was really happening. But he quickly regained his composure and stood up, putting an arm around her shoulders and leading her back towards his flat. He tried not to hurry, as she was wearing heals after all, and he didn't want to seem desperate, but he was quite eager to get her into the privacy of his flat. Once they reached the shop, he unlocked the door and led her inside, through a small maze of shelves, and to the staircase that would bring them to the door of his flat. Once in there, he opened his arms as if to display his great kingdom.
"Well, this is it, the great home of George Weasley!" As the door closed behind them, a scruffy mutt came running out of the bedroom, where George was sure he'd been sleeping on the bed like he wasn't supposed to. George bent down and scooped up the dog and tucked him under one arm as he tried to lick George's face. "This would be Gidget, the Overlord of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Really, he runs the place more than I do."
