She put down her fork, having already finished her appetizer. "We all thought so. But then, I guess our parents thought so after the last war, and our elders after Grindelwald was taken out." She reached out for her own glass, but instead of picking it up, she stroked along the upper rim with her index finger as her mind churned in thought.
"Maybe things will never be completely 'good', and we just have to find as much good as we can, day to day. That, and keep fighting." She nervously chewed her bottom lip before speaking again.
