Ron nodded to her. "Sounds great. I'm sure it'll be brilliant." Truthfully he didn't really care where they went so he was more than happy to let Hermione choose so long as she was there with him that was really all that mattered.

This night was more of an excuse for him to be with her and make sure that she was okay than anything else. He knew that she could watch out for herself, but sometimes he just needed the confirmation. And now that she was going to be transferring to a more dangerous position, he needed to be around that much more because who knew when things could take a turn for the worse?

When they'd been seated and were looking over the menu, he asked, "What do you like to eat here?" He was trying his hardest not to talk about or think on recent events, but it was difficult not to when it was generally where his mind went almost constantly.
