michael corner is reluctantly growing up ([info]mlcorner) wrote in [info]pandorarpg,
She was right, of course. He was being a hypocrite now. He had already told Justin that he wasn't going to apologise for Lavender's behaviour yet here he was, apologising away for the way that Justin had been acting. Maybe he truly was in deeper than he'd ever been before. How'd this even happen? He didn't even think it was possible, yet here he was. "I know I don't. I just - I have trouble believing that he would ever act like this and I feel a bit - I don't know - ashamed of him, maybe? Ashamed of his behaviour at least. I've never once heard him talk to a friend in such a way so for him to turn on you like that so easily is just - it's just not right."

Michael watched her closely, eying her face and squeezed her hand before he said, "Honestly, no one else said a whole lot about it. I think because Justin was objecting so loudly for most everyone and Ernie was being so cool-headed and logical about it, no one else seemed to find the need to speak up. That might remain to be seen though, Lav. I can't say that no one else won't say anything to you about it - and it might not be nice either."
