Lavender scrunched her face up at him as he kissed her forehead. "I'm pretty sure that I put you in charge of all official frosting duties, which maybe was my first mistake." Except her tone said that this was anything but a mistake. She liked having him in her kitchen, frosting and cake all of the place. "I also think that you've had some cake, but all right, let's see what we can do with the remains."

She brushed the cake crumbs from his face, before taking a moment to refocus on the task at hand. Salvage and frost the cake. The top was missing a chunk, but she could manage that once it was all together. "If you can behave, you'll want to start by scooping some of the frosting on the piece and then spread it out for the filling." It wouldn't be too much of a process to talk him through the steps to frost the cake, but she was interested to see how he interacted in her element.
