With all the odd things happening these days, she shouldn't be very surprised to have something else strange occur, but she couldn't help be taken aback by his utter kindness for someone who, for all intents and purposes, was really a stranger. Sure they went to school together and saw each other at social events throughout the years but they had never been close in any way.
She nodded. "Thank you for the offer. I might just do that." It felt odd to want to talk to someone else besides her husband, but they hadn't had the best conversation the night before and could it really hurt? Not to mention he was addressing Jason like a human being rather than some annoying thing like many often did with children his age.
Jase listened carefully to Theodore and when he was finished looked up at his mother. "Like you and Da? He's a great wizard so you're the great woman behind him, yeah?"
Samara couldn't help but smile, despite the fight they might have had the night before. She loved her husband and what her son said was true for the most part. She would always stand behind her husband, no matter what. "Yes, love, I suppose that is right. Thank you, Theodore. I hope you have a pleasant day."
"Goodbye Theodore!" Jason said too, waving after the man whom he now probably had an affection for seeing as he had spoken to him on his own level.
