"I'm Samara Chambers-" Jason tugged on her arm then seemingly making sure that he was not left out of the introductions as many adults were known to do with their children. She gestured to her son and continued, "And this is Jason Chambers. We just wanted to see if you were alright." Samara hoped she had heard him correctly. His accent was thick, even for these parts.
He certainly didn't look all that well, but then again not many of them did these days. Whether it be a family member having been murdered or being plagued nightly by the 'nightmares' or whatever they truly were, many people were not looking their best. Was it possible that this man was having the nightmares like her and her husband?
"Is there anything we can do for you, sir?" Jase asked then, sounding far older than he should. Samara squeezed his shoulder in reassurance.
