As the day winds on, the scant sunlight does little to alleviate the lingering chill in the air. Part of it might have to do with the rumors buzzing about, stirred by the rantings of one Zarkin Frood. Frood is well known for his rambling monologues on the busy corners of Diagon Alley. He's usually annoying and loud, but harmless.

However, his rantings have taken on a new note of frenzy, screaming about "that red-haired bitch is back" and "she's coming for me and the rest of them". These are just the ravings of a disturbed old man, though. No one in their right mind would lend any credence to them.
