"You're not like obligated to stay or anything. I mean I'm sure you're busy with..." She paused motioning her hands to indicate 'everything.' There was certainly a lot happening in the world these days - far more than she wanted to have to deal with first hand, but such was life.
Lavender started picking apart her sandwich, not that she had anything against it, just that didn't know how to eat in front of Adrian. And really it was so much easier to just fill the silence with babble. "Aunt Merete is just used to watching out for me I guess, she's mostly good people, but," Lavender paused shaking her head, "I think any time she catches me talking to someone for more than a few seconds she just goes ahead and jumps to these conclusions, but like you said I guess it's just family being family, always sure they know what's best."
