Adrian needed a break. through no fault of their own, Harry's murder case has no new leads and he was getting frustrated. There was pressure coming from all sides to get this wrapped up as soon as possible, but they didn't even have a real suspect yet. Neville and Adrian were both certain Zacharias Smith hadn't done it, but so far they had no likely culprits.
Adrian decided to go clear his head and grab a bite to eat. Then he remembered he'd promised to stop by the bakery and see if Lavender Brown was who he thought she was. Now as a good a time as any. As he pulled on his jumper over his black shirt and headed out for his lunch break. The bakery wasn't far, especially not since Adrian decided just to Apparate right over.
He knew Lavender Brown by name, though if she hadn't been attacked by Fenrir Greyback, he might not even have known that much. He'd taken the time to look her up a bit more, and learned she was two years younger than him, and had been a Gryffindor, and one of Potter's crowd.
Pushing that thought from his mind, Adrian stepped inside the bakery, looking for a young blond woman and spotting one almost instantly. Far more confident and relaxed than Lavender seemed to be at the moment, Adrian approached and cleared his throat. "Excuse me. Are you Ms. Lavender Brown?"
