As much as Angie intended for this match to be all in good fun, she couldn't help her competitive side. She had to quell her desire to be captain - it was Alicia's idea after all. Even though Angie sort of thought if it was like old times, she should be captaining, she had to turn off that bit of competition and focus on just having fun. She was dressed in her old school robes, which were a bit short, but still fit well otherwise.

She was doing a great job until she realised Warrington was playing too. Old rivalries came to the forefront when she saw him on the opposing team and the flash of smile across her face was quick and devious, and very much determined. She swerved her broom over toward him, unable to resist calling, "You're right, that scowl never does come off your face, does it? Think you can still keep up?"

Cade almost regretted agreeing to this match. It was far more social than he was used to, despite the somber reason behind it. Honestly, it wasn't sentimentality that had gotten him to volunteer - he'd hardly been a fan of Potter's to begin with - but it did give him a reason to give his new broom a good run, really open her up and see what she could do. Not to mention it had been far too long since he'd had a good match.

So he supposed he could put up with other people for the sake of flying. Even Johnson, who's voice cut into his stone-face reverie. He regarded her with challenging look of his own. "It does, when it has reason to. Like when I leave you eating broom bristles."

Challenge accepted. Angie did a quick maneuver that was part extreme talent and part amazing broom. "If you're so sure you can keep up with me. I doubt that," she replied, flashing Roger an amused grin when he called out to Cade. She hadn't thought her comment the slightest bit intimidating, especially not to someone like Warrington. She'd have to try harder for that. She didn't expect he'd intimidate remotely easily.

She felt exhilarated and the game hadn't really even kicked off yet. There were only two things that got Angie this excited, this flushed, and this passionate: quidditch and sex. At the moment she was practically glowing with anticipation. "At least you've got a brilliant broom there. That should help."

"I never had any trouble keeping up with you before," Cade sent back, clearly unimpressed by the dig. He didn't even acknowledge Roger's comment. If thought a few females on brooms were intimidating, then maybe he'd gone through different Auror training than Cade himself. Honestly, Cade didn't much care for trash-talking as an intimidation tactic. He much preferred to let his opponents think they had the upperhand, let them get cocky, and then grind them into dust. He let his playing do the intimidating for him.

Of course, that was if this damn game ever got started in the first place.
