The Ministry's Halloween Gala seemed to go off without a hitch last night, but as the party wound to a close, a scream marred the festivities. Nothing to see, though, or so it seemed and the party ended without incident. Except for the fact that, for the second time in as many days, there is a dead body in the halls of the Ministry.

There were no nightmares to speak of, a questionable reprieve given the devastating news that greets the wizarding world on the morning of November 1^st on the front page of the Daily Prophet. Perhaps the nightmares weren't so bad after all.
