Pandora's Box OOC

Hey all!

I thought, instead of several people putting up posts to get plottage for their characters, I'd put up a single post - so if you need plot for the current game day (or even ideas for the next), post your request here!

Marietta is REALLY enjoying making fun of Anthony and Michael. She might need more threads like this. With other DA members. (Here's looking at you, Hermione.) Seriously though, she has definitely needed this - especially with people she doesn't actually like; y'know, cos she has made fun of Zacharias but she actually likes him. :D

And also, this may kind of be a call for some more random threads for the 14th. Because they were fun on the 13th. And Ron definitely is in need of some action today. So give it to me, guys!

And for all people who were invited to the party: IT IS STILL ON. Chambers do not digress just because someone dies. They may just call it a sort of birthday/mourning party now. LOL. That's how they roll. And speaking of this party, if you do not read the Chambers threads, we need an invited member who does not have nightmares to volunteer to be a test subject for having a memory put in their head by the Chambers crew. Essentially nothing is going to happen to the person who receives this memory anyway, so it's not like it matters if they get it or not, but volunteering your character for this means that your character WILL NOT KNOW that it is happening to them because they Chambers are volunteering them without telling them and then watching to see what happens afterward.

Alright, my kids haven't had a whole lot to do this game day so if you have anything you want to do with Samara, Ron, Marietta or Michael today (the 13th) let me know so we can get something up. The week has kind of run away with me thanks to migraines and such so I haven't even realised that most of it is gone already but we still have time to get something up and started!

So yeah, randoms or anything like that, I'm totally open for. :D Give me a shout!

ISO New and Unusual Threadings!

Hey all! Justin, Agatha, and Alicia are so far 'unscheduled' this game day, and I'd love to thread with some characters I haven't threaded with yet. Would Cho or Lee be up to a first thread? Am up for anything, from DMLE bad-arseness to massage sessions to shooting the breeze with mates to taking a trip to Hogwarts and searching through the library (Justin used to wince at the thought of libraries, but thanks to Astoria, has all new associations!).

So in all likelihood, Melinda will be the one to discover the bodies of Cecelia Capper and an unfortunate Bobbin's Botanicals employee in Hogsmeade. Anyone (DMLE or otherwise) in the area want to show up for that? :)

I'm back in business everyone! I've caught up on my old threads and could use a couple new ones, specifically with Dean and Angie.

Any takers? Have I discussed any potential threads with these two and any of yours that I've forgotten about? If not, let's brainstorm and get me back in action.

So this is Emmie again and since Liana needed a wifey for her new crazy character and since I am a sucker for characters and also since we had no married characters and this looked like fun I thought I'd step in and app for Samara Chambers!

SAMARA CHAMBERS (NEE CAPPER) ◊ 25 YEARS ◊ SLYTHERIN ◊ STAY-AT-HOME MUMMY
Ok so Samara is a Pureblood (she is Runcorn on her Mom's side so she might be related to some folks around here!) and also Slytherin, so it's possible she's well acquainted with a lot of folks in game. For her temperament she's actually very well mannered and sweet, helpful and caring though in many ways she is a brown noser and does things to gain confidence from people more than to actually just be nice. It was the way she was raised though, so that's just how she knows how to behave. The only people she would ever consider being outright mean to is Muggleborns and Muggles, whom she does not give a crap for as she does have the prejudices that many Purebloods carry. She doesn't normally jeer at them openly but if the situation arises where she is with others and she has to keep her reputation intact. And of course if someone were to threaten her family (especially her kid) she's not going to be nice about that, but that's Mummy instincts and all.

Samara got married to Elijah Chambers right out of Hogwarts and started training to be an Obliviator for about a year but they got pregnant there in the middle of the war so she ended up quitting to stay at home with baby. She also modified her husband's memory at the end of the war so that his father could go to Azkaban for Eli's crimes and their son Jason would not be without a father. They are an odd little family. :)

Samara likes to draw in her free time and uses it as a stress reliever and is hoping to go back to Obliviator training once Jason is older/goes off to Hogwarts. And her birthday is the 13th of November--I'm sure she will be having a great one with all these awesome nightmares!

PLOTS
So she is Pureblood and a Slytherin, but she is still rather civil and nice, so if your Slytherins like that sort of thing then maybe they'd get along. And while she has contempt for Muggleborns, she isn't out there pointing and laughing at them so it's not like they would necessarily know, besides the fact that she did participate in the Muggleborn Registration Commission turning in any Muggleborns she could that were trying to flee registration. Teehee.

Anyone who wants to come over to the house and play with Jase is free to do so! He is super smart and a bit of a smart arse so that's always fun. :D And Eli is a huge weirdo so the family dynamic is quite odd so a dinner with the family would be very interesting I am betting!

As mentioned the other day, a certain Zarkin Frood has been rustling up trouble with his ramblings along Diagon Alley. We would like a volunteer to run across him next game day, Saturday the 8th, (him NPC'd by one of us, of course) so that the plottiness may continue.

(We would also like to remind everyone that you may request NPCs from us at ANY time, as well as ask for information your character can discover/pass on/etc.)

EDIT: This offer is open to more than just one character, btw! Frood can have multiple run-ins.

Taking the lead of awesome fellow players... While I have plot for Jayne today, I'm available for my main 3.

- Justin - absolutely anything (we all know he'll do anything once)
- Percy - Rose, you up to playing Percy getting his robes, or shall we have them 'reschedule'? - Sev, will Ginny be invading her big brother's flat today?
- Alicia - up for anything (she's likely nursing a terrible hangover this morning lol)

I'm a little sleep-deprived, so bear with me. >.>

I was planning on putting up a post tomorrow/today with Seamus buying fireworks for Guy Fawkes because he just needs to blow shit up and I was wondering if anyone wanted to throw their character at him.

I'm also going to need threads for Melinda and Cade, so if anyone wants to talk to them, just let me know! You can hit me up on AIM at buggerme imirish. I'm usually on during the day. :)

So... for the next game day, Ginny is looking to get ridiculously drunk and get into a lot of trouble. Any takers on either front?

So... Ginny and Zacharias are currently going toe-to-toe. Our original plan had Cho coming by Zacharias's house to deliver bad news and, in the process, breaking up the fight and carting Ginny off to a holding cell to calm down for a few hours.

As Christie's no longer with us, Cho is no longer an option, but without someone to come by and break up the fight, Zacharias and Ginny will just up and kill each other.

SO... we need a DMLE person to come by and break us up, cart Ginny off to the cooler, and deliver some lousy news to Zacharias.

Any takers? Don't let us kill each other!
