The music was nearly maddening. He’d tried all day to get away from it. Even out in the gardens and woods it could be heard plying from the barns and over areas. Having tired of running, Kakashi just resorted to an old trick of taking tissues from one of the shared bathrooms on the first floor and shoving it into his ears to plug it up. It didn’t stop the music completely, but it at least allowed for some tolerance.
He’d been laying in bed with one of the various books given to him when he heard the muffled screams and explosions coming from outside his door. Seems the music already drove one of the guests nuts. Sighing he stood and bookmarked his page before placing it on the windowsill next to his plant. Walking over to the door, he caught himself and quickly returned to re-cover his sharingan again and strap on both his shoes and a hidden kunai. After the last interruption, he’d learned not to go unarmed when both greeting and just walking about. He left the tattoo showing for once. None of the people here knew what it meant but for two and he really didn’t care if the two of them knew.
Sliding out his door and reactivating the seals, he quietly snuck to the stairs and looked over the rail to see who it was. Standing down there was some woman he’d never seen before. Great. A new guest that seems to like to wake people up and be destructive. Not wanting to waist his energy on porting down here, he crouched and quickly moved down the steeps not wanting her to see him till he was in closer. She didn’t look like a ninja, so this should be easy to calm her.
At the end of the steps he waited a moment before stepping out onto the first floor and slowly walking towards her. “What would you expect? For the owners to allow you to destroy what they worked hard to create in an instance?” He shoved his hands into his pockets and took on the lazy look. It always worked so well to throw off any threats. “I am assuming you are new here of course.” He nodded towards the large gates he was sure she had come through.
