Kakashi was jumpy to say the least. This was the first time he had gotten up since the attack yesterday. Having spent the rest of that day unconscious, his body had finally gotten the rest it had needed in days, but the mind was now paranoid. Every little noise or loud bang caused him to jump. It still hurt to breath and move normally even though he knew he had been healed already, the memory of what he knew should be there triggered ticks in his muscles to start. There were even moments when his arm felt intense heat. He would quickly look, afraid the fire had started again and not truly out like it was suppose to be.
Doing his best to push all the mental issues aside, he focused on walking normally as he exited the kitchen and dinning hall, one foot in front of the other. He paused as his nose picked up the slight sent of smoke or something similar. Glancing around him he saw no fire and figured he was going officially insane.
Reaching the foyer he stopped his slow walk when his eye landed on the guy currently sitting on the floor looking at the gates. Great, was he now hallucinating people? Maybe those drugs he’d taken earlier weren’t such a good idea mixed with the others he’d been given. Still taking caution and knowing well his movements were much slower then they would normally be, he reached for his kunai held within the leg pouch strapped to his right thigh. Fingers brushed over something made of wood making him look down and seeing Bellatrix’s wand still poking out of the case. He’d forgotten about that. Ignoring it for now, he pulled the kunai out and grasped it in his hand tightly feeling just a bit more secure.
Now what to do with the guy. He was a new visitor obviously, if he truly was real. Sliding a little closer, he tried to hide the small limp the kept coming back off and on. “Friend or Foe?” He blinked as his voice cracked slightly, sounding dry and rough. Just the type of first impression he wanted. Everything screamed ‘come kill me, I’m weak’. Hopefully he’d be lucky and the guy would be better then the last person he’d greeted.
