GPSL on the West Coast

It being October means that in a month I'll have been married for a year. I can hardly believe that almost a year has gone by since Alec and I got married. I'm going to get sappy and say that it has been the best year of my life. Sure, not much has changed between dating and being married, but it simply feels different. At least it does to me.

Contrary to popular belief, I do do photo shoots where I keep most of my clothes on.

I had been wasting my summer away, just enjoying my newfound freedom once I graduated. It's rather nice to know that I have no obligation to continue my education. Have spent most days around the beach and playing music. What could be better than that?

I love this time of year. I've been spending quite a bit of time in my garden. The gardener I hired last year while I was away did an alright job in keeping it, but it did get slightly overgrown and my roses definitely needed some tender loving care. I don't mind too much, though. I adore spending time with my flowers.

Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but I also love when a shoot is over, because then I don't have to agonize over my diet and work out constantly. Not that I stop working out completely, but I don't have to do it twice a day.

Soooooo...

I got in trouble at school today for 'bringing' a weapon to school. In my defense, it was a shield...that I summoned for the first time...while trying to break up a fight. A bunch of people saw it and I may have been a bit too excited about it that I lost control of it and it broke a light fixture.

I did stop the fight, at least, but now...I am in trouble. I can't even explain that my powers without sounding crazy. What should I do?

It's been a few months without dreams. I guess I should have known they would eventually be back.
