"Then I won't stop," Liam offered with a bit of a smile, sipping at his wine while she continued on with her point, and just shrugged, "I won't complain about having you kept around," Another sip of his wine, and he set it back down before licking his lips and looking over at her, his head tilting to the side some, just watching her. He nodded at the idea of losing a life as a healer.
"Well, it's part of the job. As long as you do your best, you're sure you've done everything you could, it's not on you--you're the person trying to save their life, right?" He smiled and reached a hand across the table to touch the back of hers, "I'm sure it can get tough, but your heart will always be what wins out, I can tell."
Liam shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, "You're right, I am successful, I'm great at what I do, and yet it's not everything. I'll get there though, I'm certain of it."
