Who: Liam and Amy
Where: Liam's penthouse in downtown Philly
When: Sunday evening
What: A night together
Rating: It's Jen and I, let's be real, it's probably high.
Status: Ongoing | Closed

Liam leaned back in his over-stuffed, fine leather chair, hand holding the phone to his ear as he kicked one leg up over the other leg, staring out the window into the Philly skyline. His breathing was calm, and his voice was low, but it was loud enough to hear by anyone walking in, and though his voice was steady, it was anything but relaxed, it was angry, "I don't fucking care what he's going through, tell that shitstain that if he doesn't have it by the end of the week, we'll cut off his balls and send them to his mother in Indiana."

He rubbed at his temple, sighing as the other spoke shakily through the receiver on the other end, "If you can't handle it without pissing down your leg, then you can add your own pair to the fucking box, got it? Now get it done, get that money to me, or I'll put you in a fucking box next to him. Do whatever you have to, and don't call me again tonight. This is my private time, and it's not to be meddled with for pathetic squabbles like this." He then slammed the phone down in the receiver and Liam turned around to face the door, grabbing up the expensive glass of scotch, and lifted it to his lips to sip, staring at the computer in front of him.

He set the glass down, dressed in all black suit and black button up that was half undone, with a black undershirt beneath. He took another sip, and then closed his eyes as he rubbed at his temple.

Amy smiled as she looked herself over in the mirror one last time. The dress she had on was absolutely perfect, clinging to each curve in the best way possible and showing off all the assets. The dark red went well with her hair and was sure to draw the eye. And there was only one set of eyes she wanted drawn to her.

While today had been a rare day off from work, Amy had spent most of it primping and prepping for the evening. Things had been mostly casual with Liam the last few months. He had been giving her time to grieve her husband and Amy had simply not wanted to seem like such a terrible person for wanting to date him right after losing the man she had been married to.

Tonight though was different. Tonight, she was going to slip the idea of them being more frequent, more official than what they had been. So she'd gone all out, primped and prepped, waxed and washed every last inch until she was practically red carpet ready.

Arriving a little early, Amy slipped into the penthouse that belonged to Liam and looked around. She loved the beautiful home and always felt more at home here, than her own little three bedroom place. She'd stepped through the hall, following the sound of a voice.

She approached the door to the room just as he was hanging up and taking a sip of his drink. He looked frustrated and half dressed. It made her smile as she slipped in quietly. "I think I might be too early."

Liam looked up at the door and his smile immediately appeared on his otherwise distraught face, seeing the beautiful woman enter his room always put a smile on his face, and he rolled out from behind the desk and stood to his feet. He moved around the desk and towards her, holding his hand out as he looked her over, shaking his head.

"Nonsense, enter my home at whatever point you wish, especially if you're going to enter like this. A beautiful goddess has entered my home, and I would be a shameful being if I turned such grace and radiance away."

He laughed and moved towards her, reaching a hand down to take hers, and lifting it to kiss the back of it, and then spun her around for him, shaking his head, "Delectable as always..." He scanned up to her eyes and tilted his head, "I thought I'd have my personal chef make us a meal tonight and we could stay in, I had my assistant bring me the finest red wine.."

He brought his hand to her chin and shook his head, leaning in to steal a soft kiss from her lips before grinning, "I have looked forward to this all day."

Seeing the smile appear on Liam's lips always made Amy feel warm. She enjoyed making others happy and Liam was always at the top of that list. She quickly took his hand and stepped over to him and offered a light kiss to his cheek in greeting.

"You always have such a way with words. If I am a goddess then that must make you a god as well." She laughed a little at his suggestion. "So I got all dolled up for a night in? I guess I won't mind, but I'll be taking my heels off." She teased, even if it were honest, she'd slipped on one of her higher pairs for the night.

"I have too. I spent all day thinking of it." She said before returning the kiss softly and smiling. How had she lucked out that such a man's attention was on her? "I managed to catch a bit of your conversation. Trouble at work?"

Liam blinked at her comment about getting dolled up and shook his head, "No, no you're right, absolutely right. A woman as beautiful as you shouldn't have her light snuffed out in the darkness of such a dingy home. Come, I'm taking you someplace quite special."

He moved for his phone and picked it up, calling his assistant, "Have the helicopter brought in, and call Magdalena, tell her Poe is coming and I want a table for two, I don't care who she has to have removed." He smiled at the confirmation and then turned back towards her, waving off the subject of work, "No, no trouble. Just hired help is so inconsiderate and lazy anymore, and it's far too incompetent, but I'm fine, work's fine. None of that stuff while we're together."

Liam's arm caught hers and he gestured towards the hallway, "Now, shall we find our way to the roof m'lady? The chopper will be here soon, and it's only a short flight away, I promise." He began to lead her away.

Amy had been teasing mostly when she made the comment, but apparently Liam thought she was serious. Before she even had a chance to correct him, he was making calls and getting the helicopter ready. She chuckled softly and shook her head a little at that.

"You know, I had been mostly teasing. We can just stay here if you'd like. I don't care where we are as long as it is together." She squeezed his hand and shook her head, but she followed anyways. "And I think you just want an excuse to go flying."

Liam shook his head, "Joking or not, you are right. As pretty as you are, as absolutely breathtaking... as you are, I cannot contain it all to myself, it is unfair to the world, you are too perfect not to share." He smiled, and moved to the elevator that would take them to the roof, and he winked, "and it's Magdalena's restaurant, I've been going to her for years. The finest food you will ever have, anywhere. It's a bit less up class than what we're dressed for, but the food might as well be a 5-star restaurant, and she'll love you."

Liam smiled brightly and stepped out onto the helipad as the helicopter came flying in, watching it settle down, he placed his hand to the small of her back and helped her towards it, gesturing for her to climb in first, before he got in behind her. The door was shut behind him, and suddenly the place was silent from the world outside, their wine on a table already for them. The table moved with the helicopter, suspended, so that it was always right side up.

He sat down next to her and poured her a glass of the red wine, and then himself one before looking to her, "And maybe I just wanted to impress you. You come in looking like that, upstaging me at every turn, I might as well through some luxuries at you. Don't you agree?"

He laughed and held his glass up, "Tell me about your day, I want to know every detail."

"Alright, you win. I guess we can head out." Amy smiled and followed him out of the room and up to the helicopter pad. Before knowing Liam, she'd never been on one,but now it seemed almost natural to accept the extreme way of travel. It was obviously one of his favorite ways to go places.

She slipped in with a word of thanks and buckled up. It fancy, she had to admit that. "Thank you." She said as she took the glass and sipped at the crimson liquid happily. "You always impress me Aden,Just being you impresses me.' He could just be in a lazy t-shirt and jeans and she'd want to be near him.

"Really,I just ran a few errands. I got my hair cut, a few beauty treatments done, and bought this dress." She said with a quick motion towhat she was wearing." She'd also bought what was underneath, but that was saved for later hopefully. "What about you? Did you end up working all day again?"

Liam laughed and sipped at his wine as they were seated. He leaned back, happy to have the relaxation come. His phone buzzed, and he pulled it out of his pocket, glaring at the number on it, and he hung it up, responding with a quick text, then slid it back into his inner pocket, looking to her, "I'm sorry, no more interruptions now. I made sure of it. Now... you bought that dress just for tonight? And all that for me? You should know, Amy, I think you're... pardon my vulgarity... fucking hot. You had no reason to do any of that, and yet I am mesmerized again."

He laughed and another drink, watching the sky pass by and the city below, before glancing back towards her, "I did, I work every day Amy. And most evenings. Though I expressly told them not to bother me tonight, I'm with the only person I want to see today, or any day."

It wasn't that surprising for Liam's phone to go off and it didn't really bother her. Amy had her own phone always on in case the hospital needed to get a hold of her. It was rare, but had happened a few times when they had been together."It's alright. You know I understand if something important comes up Liam." She reached out to take his hand and squeezed it gently.

"I like looking good for you on our dates. It's something I enjoy so you better just get used to it." She teased. "Though I am happy to be the woman you want to see all the time. You're the only man I want to see." She confessed softly, ignoring the heat on her cheeks.

Liam shook his head, "I don't have to go, my night is for you... all of it if you'll allow me the opportunity," He smiled and then laughed, "Do you now? Well I greatly appreciate it, though I doubt you're even remotely capable of looking anything but beautiful, but the fact you want to look good for me on our dates must mean I'm doing something right, so I do love it."

He lifted her hand when she squeezed it, kissing the back of it and shook his head again, "Something important can be handled by my colleagues. It's why I hire them, if they can't handle it then they will be dealt with." Most would think that meant being fired, but depending on the business, that could be the least of someone's problems.

He felt the chopper beginning to descend, and then leaned forward as her cheeks began to redden, and he kissed her lips softly, lifting one hand to brush at her cheek. They'd been mostly 'friends' up to this point, though both of them knew they'd wanted each other for awhile. So the kissing had started, but they'd never gotten very hot or heavy with it. He was willing to wait for her, until she was over the despicable creature she called a husband. He settled his lips against hers and just sighed before he pulled back.

"I think we're here. Come along," He listened to the door to open then stepped out with her, drawing her down into the field with him. They were obviously outside of Philly, as the restaurant was nestled away in a small field, with a tiny parking lot coming up to it. The whole place surrounded by rock walls and hedges. He gestured for her to follow, "I hope you don't mind Italian."

Amy gave Liam a small, shy smile as she nodded to his request. "I would like that." They hadn't progressed that far, but she felt like it was time if he was willing. "And never say I'm in capable. You've never seen me in the morning yet. My hair constantly looks like a bird's nest." But she wondered how Liam would look, if he'd have bed head or drool. She was eager to see that.

Amy was glad that the chopper was almost on the ground, eager to eat and enjoy the evening. His soft lips only enticed her to want him for more than their little innocent kisses and touches until now.

"Mmm? Alright." Amy followed him out and glanced around. She had no idea where they were, but already it looked unique. "I love Italian and I'm starving."

"I'm going to say without a doubt, you're incapable," Liam offered and continued to move towards the restaurant, upon arriving he opened the door and let her in, turning his brow up as he looked back towards her, "Then you'll love this place. The best Italian I've ever had, by far, it's wonderful," He opened the door for her and let her in first, before stepping in behind her.

The place was dimly lit, with dim amber lighting, and dark black and red tablecloths, and vines on the walls or dividers. Liam looked to Amy and smiled, then gestured back towards the back corner that overlooked the large, distant meadow and vineyard out back, "They make their own wine here, it's fantastic."

He waved to the hostess, smiling to her, they knew him here, and Liam then dropped to the patio seat that looked out over the vineyard, and gestured her towards the chair across the table from him, and he smiled again, "Can I recommend the Chicken Parmesean? Amazing here."

"I will only believe you after you've seen me in the morning though." Her smile was warm though, always playful with him. It was easy to tease and flirt with Liam. It was what drew her to him in the first place.

Amy let him guide her through the restaurant, impressed with the beauty of it. It was by far the nicest place she'd ever been to. "This place is absolutely stunning Liam. I'm going to have to let you pick where we go far more often." It looked like somewhere out of a fantasy or a magazine.

She was impressed as they led the two of them to a rather private table and slipped into the seat offered. "If you're recommending then I will have to get it. What are you going to have?" She asked as she looked over the menu, smiling as she saw a pricey bottle of Muscato. It'd been a while since she'd had the sweet white wine, but she was tempted to ask if he were interested in sharing a bottle tonight.
